It will definitely be something that you won’t forget as this experience presents a panoramic outlook of the Lebanese terrain.

Visit the Jeita Grotto

The Jeita Grotto takes its name from its location, a town located just outside Beirut and was discovered in 1836 by Reverend William Thomson. It re-opened in 1995 from the damages its experiences during the Lebanese Civil War in 1978. Its natural rock formations, untouched by people except to facilitate transport through the cave is what makes the Jeita Grotto so unusual. You can walk and take a boat ride through this beautiful site which is divided into two sections.

Akkar located North of Lebanon, show off the country’s biggest and most beautiful expanses of nature. Akkar is a bijou just waiting for explorers to root it out and still largely unexplored by tourists. Because of the lack of preparation for visitors, it is hard to get around. Visit the Baatara Gorge Waterfall

The Baatara Gorge Waterfall in Tannourine is one of the best sites to visit in Lebanon, another natural rock formation. The waterfall only gained popularity recently, with more locals and tourists hiking up for the perfect picture and was discovered by Henri Coiffait in 1952. The site is millions of years old as Geologists theorize, and may have survived alongside the dinosaurs.

Stroll through Hamra

Beirut’s core of culture and knowledge is Hamra. It’s no secret that a walk through Hamra should be on your list of places to visit in Lebanon with the substantial concentration of universities in Lebanon and a rich cultural history. As you stroll among students, tourists, and locals grasp the hustle and bustle including the dynamic atmosphere.
